We successfully bid on and won a day with Salmon King Lodge & Guide service, that Bill and Julie donated to a local charity fundraiser. Making arrangements with Bill was simple, direct, and easy going.

Taking a guided fishing tour has been a “bucket list” item for me for years, and Bill & Julie did not disappoint. We nearly limited out, with one of our catch weighing in as an over-25lb monster. But, more importantly, the conversation & company were delightful, and Bill did an expert job of cleaning and filleting our fish for us, so that we left with a cooler full of fish fillets and no cleaning project when we got home.

We will absolutely come back, and plan to work this trip in to our regular rotation. Thank you, Bill & Julie, for a fabulous day on the bay!

My son & I met Captain Bill on the Rogue early on a foggy morning in August. A nice smile, & a firm handshake greeted us for a nice day of Chinook fishing, & within 30 minutes I was fighting a 17 lb-er !! The fish being fresh from the ocean, had a lot of life in him, but Captain Bills’ experience really shines through even when the fish tried to go under the boat in the current amongst lots of fellow anglers, Bill put him in the boat. Thanks for a trip my son & I will never forget!
